Essential Adventure: Waterfall & Hanging Bridge
This tour is designed for those who want to experience nature without requiring a high level of physical fitness. It covers 3 km of accessible trails that lead you to discover two must-see highlights: an impressive suspension bridge and the chance to visit one of our waterfalls, Nakura or Paolita (your choice).
Along the way, you’ll also have the opportunity to cool off in the crystal-clear waters and reach the river to enjoy a refreshing swim surrounded by the purity of the tropical forest.
✨🦥 Optional Extra (+$10 per person): Sloth Watching
Make your experience even more special by visiting our sloth sanctuary. You’ll have binoculars and a telescope to observe them up close, guided by a naturalist who will help you discover every detail. You’ll also have time to spot other wildlife, including tropical birds, either along the trails or from our ranch.
The duration of this tour can be customized according to your pace and interests. We also offer additional extras that can be requested when booking to make your experience even more comfortable and complete.
“Adventure Plus: Waterfalls & Hanging Bridge”
This tour is designed for those who want to experience nature with a bit more adventure, without requiring a high level of physical fitness. The trail covers approximately 3.5 km—about 500 meters longer than the Essential Adventure tour—and takes you to discover three must-see highlights: an impressive suspension bridge and the opportunity to visit two waterfalls (Nakuru and Paolita).
Along the way, you can cool off in the crystal-clear waters and reach the river to enjoy a refreshing swim surrounded by the purity of the tropical forest.

Miravalles Expedition: Viewpoints and Waterfall
Discover amazing viewpoints with spectacular views over the Guanacaste province, panoramic vistas of Jorge Manuel Dengo National Park, and impressive canyons. This 360° nature and adventure experience will leave you breathless.
This tour is designed for participants with good physical fitness, covering 10 km of trails with medium to high difficulty. The paths are comfortable and safe, perfect for those seeking a more intense adventure.
It also includes the impressive suspension bridge and the option to visit a waterfall of your choice, just like in our other tours.
If you prefer a lighter route, you can choose to skip the waterfall, reducing the hike by 500 meters and lowering the difficulty. In this case, it is also possible to request pricing for the viewpoint experience only.
To make your experience even more special, we offer several extras, including binoculars, which allow you to observe wildlife, birds, and landscape details up close, maximizing every moment of your tour.
The approximate duration of this tour is 5 to 6 hours. It is very important to bring snacks and water, or purchase them at our reception, to maintain energy and stay hydrated throughout the hike.
“MTB Adventure – Cuilpilapan Miravalles”
MTB Adventure – Cuilpilapan Miravalles
Enjoy a Mountain Bike experience designed for flow, adventure, and adrenaline surrounded by the natural beauty of Cuilpilapan. We offer different route options that can be adapted to your experience level and the type of adventure you are looking for.
The 3,2 km route is designed as a dynamic circuit featuring descents, turns, small jumps, natural obstacles, and manageable climbs that help keep the ride smooth and entertaining. Since it is a shorter circuit, you can ride it multiple times as many times as you like, combine it with alternative trails to experience a different section of the route, or even add the La Perdiz Viewpoint to your ride. If you would like to do multiple laps, ask at reception about our special rates for this option.
For those looking for a greater challenge, the 6.5 km route takes you to some of our main attractions: the waterfall, the suspension bridge, and La Perdiz Viewpoint. The most challenging section is approximately 1.5 km on the way back from the waterfall to reception, where you will encounter more demanding climbs and some natural sections where you may need to get off your bike and walk.
The trails have been carefully worked on and designed to provide a smooth, safe, and enjoyable riding experience, with clear signage allowing you to explore the route self-guided. This experience is recommended for intermediate to advanced riders and is not intended for beginners.
MTB bikes, helmets, and gloves are available for rent. Since the routes depend on natural trail conditions, we strongly recommend contacting us via WhatsApp before booking, especially after heavy rainfall, so we can confirm that the trails are suitable for riding.
