Essential Adventure: Waterfall & Hanging Bridge
This tour is designed for those who want to experience nature without requiring a high level of physical fitness. It covers 3 km of accessible trails that lead you to discover two must-see highlights: an impressive suspension bridge and the chance to visit one of our waterfalls, Nakura or Paolita (your choice).
Along the way, you’ll also have the opportunity to cool off in the crystal-clear waters and reach the river to enjoy a refreshing swim surrounded by the purity of the tropical forest.
✨🦥 Optional Extra (+$10 per person): Sloth Watching
Make your experience even more special by visiting our sloth sanctuary. You’ll have binoculars and a telescope to observe them up close, guided by a naturalist who will help you discover every detail. You’ll also have time to spot other wildlife, including tropical birds, either along the trails or from our ranch.
The duration of this tour can be customized according to your pace and interests. We also offer additional extras that can be requested when booking to make your experience even more comfortable and complete.
“Adventure Plus: Waterfalls & Hanging Bridge”
This tour is designed for those who want to experience nature with a bit more adventure, without requiring a high level of physical fitness. The trail covers approximately 3.5 km—about 500 meters longer than the Essential Adventure tour—and takes you to discover three must-see highlights: an impressive suspension bridge and the opportunity to visit two waterfalls (Nakuru and Paolita).
Along the way, you can cool off in the crystal-clear waters and reach the river to enjoy a refreshing swim surrounded by the purity of the tropical forest.

Miravalles Expedition: Viewpoints and Waterfall
Discover amazing viewpoints with spectacular views over the Guanacaste province, panoramic vistas of Jorge Manuel Dengo National Park, and impressive canyons. This 360° nature and adventure experience will leave you breathless.
This tour is designed for participants with good physical fitness, covering 10 km of trails with medium to high difficulty. The paths are comfortable and safe, perfect for those seeking a more intense adventure.
It also includes the impressive suspension bridge and the option to visit a waterfall of your choice, just like in our other tours.
If you prefer a lighter route, you can choose to skip the waterfall, reducing the hike by 500 meters and lowering the difficulty. In this case, it is also possible to request pricing for the viewpoint experience only.
To make your experience even more special, we offer several extras, including binoculars, which allow you to observe wildlife, birds, and landscape details up close, maximizing every moment of your tour.
The approximate duration of this tour is 5 to 6 hours. It is very important to bring snacks and water, or purchase them at our reception, to maintain energy and stay hydrated throughout the hike.
“Wild Encounter: Sloths & Tropical Birds”
Explore our trails near the ranch and discover the incredible wildlife of Miravalles. You’ll have the chance to spot sloths, toucans, and many endemic species, all within a safe and accessible environment.
The tour includes binoculars and a telescope, allowing you to enjoy birds and sloths even from our ranch, without the need for long hikes.
It is suitable for all ages, and the duration and distance can be customized according to your pace and interests. If you wish, the tour can be extended for those who want to explore more and make the most of the experience.
